I was approached by Warby Parker to come up with a concept for wallpaper and enamel pins for their Portland Store that would have an arcade video game theme.
The initial inspiration for the concept came to me when I came across an image showing the silhouettes of arcade cabinets from the 80s. I immediately visualized these shapes as head profiles and the wallpaper pattern quickly emerged.
The enamel pin design concept built on this direction by taking the elements of video game cabinets and type design that made for a cohesive visual language.
